Trace Table is a free study site for Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science 0478 and AS and A Level 9618. It is run by Mahdi Kilani. There is nothing to pay for and nothing to sign up to.
It is not Cambridge, and it is not a guarantee
Trace Table is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Cambridge Assessment International Education. The syllabus names are used only to say which courses the material is for.
The questions here are our own. Marking is written to follow the way Cambridge marks, and it is tested, but it is not a Cambridge mark and it does not predict your grade. Where we are unsure, we say so. If you find marking that looks wrong, tell us: trace-table@outlook.com.
Your work is yours, and you are the only one keeping it
Anything you write here stays in your browser and belongs to you. Because we hold no copy, we cannot recover it for you. If a piece of work matters, save it to your own computer. The site has a save command for exactly this.
Fair use
Use the site to study. Do not attack it, do not try to overload it, and do not use it to break the law or to get around your school's rules.
Running code
The site runs the code you write, inside your own browser, in a sandbox. Code you write yourself is your responsibility. Do not paste in code from somewhere you do not trust.
AI help
AI help is optional and off by default, and it uses a key you supply. Replies are written by a model, not by us, and can be wrong. The tests and the mark scheme are the judge. Providers such as OpenRouter and Anthropic require their users to be 18 or over, which is their rule and not ours; a model running on your own computer has no such requirement.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it correct and available, but we do not promise it will be free of mistakes or always online, and we are not responsible for a grade, a deadline or any other loss that follows from using it. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law that cannot be removed.
